Pregnancy induced hypertension (PIH) encompasses a broad spectrum of maternal blood pressure disorders ranging from gestational HTN to pre-eclampsia and HELLP syndrome. Risk factors for PIH include a history of PIH in prior pregnancies, first pregnancies (primigravida), multiple gestation, maternal obesity, and maternal chronic illness.
With appropriate management, we fully anticipate good maternal and fetal outcomes. The providers at CWHC commonly and comfortably manage pregnancies complicated by PIH. Please call our office for further consultation.
