Our three full-time OB/GYNs--Dr. David Weinstein, Dr. Jennifer Smith and Dr. Juliana Verticchio, and our two full-time women’s health nurse practitioner —Kris Scalf and Julia Hoven, are dedicated to caring for your women’s health needs. Dr. Amy Loden provides generalized preventative care, as well as same day evaluation and management of a broad range of medical issues.

Amy Loden, MD, FACP
Dr. Amy Loden joined Consultants in Women’s Healthcare in July, 2018. The newest physician to join the practice, she is a graduate of Missouri State University where she graduated with honors in 2006 with a Bachelors of Science before attending the University of Missouri School of Medicine, where she graduated with honors in 2010.
David Weinstein, MD, FACOG
Dr. David Weinstein received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 1981, and an M.D. degree from St. Louis University in 1985. He completed his residency at Washington University School of Medicine and Barnes Hospital in 1989 and has committed his career to the full-time practice of obstetrics and gynecology since then. He is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1991 and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Jennifer Smith, MD, FACOG
Dr. Jennifer Smith joined Consultants in Women’s Healthcare in 2003 after completing residency at Washington University School of Medicine/Barnes-Jewish Hospital. A graduate of UCLA, she moved to St. Louis to attend medical school at Washington University in 1995, and has been in St. Louis ever since. She has been a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists since 2006 and has served on the board of the St. Louis Maternity Hospital Society.
Juliana Verticchio, MD
Dr. Juliana Verticchio was welcomed to Consultants in Women’s Healthcare in 2015. The newest physician to join the practice, she is a graduate of St. Louis University and attended Loyola University in Chicago for medical school. She returned to St. Louis to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Washington University School of Medicine/Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
Kris Scalf, RNC, WHNP, MC
Kris Scalf has been part of Consultants in Women’s Healthcare since 2008. She received her BS degree in nutrition from Northeast Missouri State University, a BS in nursing from the University of Iowa and her Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialty in Women’s Health from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
Julia Hoven, WHNP-BC
Julia Hoven joined Consultants in Women’s Healthcare in 2013. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Webster University in St. Louis, prior to completing her Master’s degree in Nursing with certification as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Missouri, St. Louis.
